Sprawa Kamila Durczoka znalazła swoje odbicie również w popularnym Muppet Sejm. Mimo, że głównym bohaterem tego odcinka jest znany pogromca Niemców Jan Rokita, dziennikarz zdobył zaszczytne miejsce w „czołówce” produkcji Dariusza Ćwiklaka. Niestety rozczarowało trochę dzisiejsze Szkło Kontaktowe, które film ocenzurowało. Prawdopodobnie aby uniknąć zarzutu o wycięcie tylko tego niewygodnego fragmentu, poddano go małym cięciom również w innych miejscach. Oczywiście można to tłumaczyć ograniczonym czasem antenowym, należy mieć jednak na uwadze fakt, że niektóre poprzednie części Muppetów prezentowane były w całości.
Z drugiej strony, trudno od stacji wymagać, aby po weekendowym „nalocie na internet” i usuwaniu wszystkiego co jest Kamilem Durczokiem i przeklina, TVN24 zgodził się wyemitować soczystą recenzję stołu w jednym ze swoich sztandarowych programów.
Na zakończenie tzw. „Durczokgate” – jak została ta akcja ochrzczona na blogu Mediafun – trzeba jednak oddać honor głównemu bohaterowi zamieszania, który ponad 3 godziny wcześniej, w podsumowaniu Faktów, potrafił zdobyć się na dystans do całej sytuacji, kwitując ją słowami : „(…) My spotykamy się jutro, przy czyściuteńkim jak niemal codziennie stole, zapraszam (…)”. Należałoby w tym miejscu dodać: by żyło się lepiej, wszystkim…
A tak swoją drogą, miniony weekend pokazał, że nie trzeba żyć w Chinach, by doświadczyć posmaku cenzury internetu. Stół został więc wyczyszczony – zarówno ten w studiu, jak i ten wirtualny, na którym pojawiały się przez ostatnie dni coraz to nowe kopie występu Kamila Durczoka. Na razie uchował się Muppetowy Kamil, który – póki co – nikomu nie przeszkadza. Ciekawe jak długo…
