ING stara się od pewnego czasu podążać drogą, budującą wizerunek pomarańczowego banku jako instytucji, która przeciera szlaki w docieraniu do klientów za pomocą nowoczesnych kanałów komunikacji. Tym razem postanowiono wziąć się za edukację klienta, który by chciał, ale się boi lub nie potrafi korzystać z usług bankowości elektronicznej.
Jak można wyczytać z informacji prasowej rozesłanej do mediów, ING uruchomił Internetową Akademię, w ramach której klienci tego banku mogą zapisać się na bezpłatne kursy z zakresu podstaw obsługi komputera oraz zagadnień internetowych. Z badań Internetowego Barometru ING wynika, że blisko 60 procent osób nie korzystających na co dzień z internetu, byłoby zainteresowanych możliwością podjęcia darmowego szkolenia IT.
Tak w skrócie wygląda to, czego można dowiedzieć się z oficjalnej informacji prasowej ING. Teraz kilka faktów, które udało mi się uzyskać w biurze prasowym banku (nawiasem mówiąc, duży plus za szybką reakcję).
Niestety program jest bardzo ograniczony terytorialnie. Z kursów będą mogły skorzystać jedynie osoby mieszkające w Warszawie i Katowicach. Do klientów wybranych oddziałów w tych miastach zostały wysłane listy z zaproszeniem do wzięcia udziału w szkoleniu. Wszystkie osoby, które zdecydują się na naukę podstaw IT, będą mogły dokonać zapisów telefonicznie lub we wskazanych oddziałach ING do 20 marca br. Kurs składać się ma z czterech dwugodzinnych spotkań, które odbywać się będą dwa razy w tygodniu w godzinach popołudniowych w dziesięcioosobowych grupach.
Jak poinformowało mnie biuro rzecznika ING, na koniec szkolenia wszyscy uczestnicy otrzymają również zaświadczenia o ukończeniu kursu. Mają być one wydane na drukach zgodnych z rozporządzeniem Ministra Edukacji i Nauki, dotyczącego uzyskania i uzupełniania przez osoby dorosłe wiedzy ogólnej, umiejętności i kwalifikacji zawodowych w formach pozaszkolnych.
Przyznam, że pomysł Internetowej Akademii ING przypadł mi do gustu. W przeciwieństwie do poprzedniej kampanii, w której zdecydowano się wykorzystać kukiełki, prezentujące wątpliwej jakości poczucie humoru, tym razem specjaliści od promocji przygotowali coś, co powinno utrwalić pozytywny wizerunek banku. Oczywiście kwestią otwartą pozostaje jeszcze jakość prowadzonych szkoleń oraz liczba nie-internautów, którzy zdecydują się przekwalifikować na pełnoprawnych internautów.
Podsumowując – duży plus za pomysł. Nie byłbym jednak sobą, gdybym nie dołożył kropli dziegciu do beczki pomarańczowego miodu z logiem ING. Szkoda, że akcja została ograniczona jedynie do dwóch dużych miast, w których odsetek aktywnych uczestników sieci jest z pewnością jednym z wyższych w naszym kraju. Tego typu działania powinny być skierowane raczej do osób mieszkających w małych i średnich miejscowościach, gdzie procent użytkowników internetu jest znacznie niższy. Oczywiście wymagałoby to większych nakładów, jednakże również efekty w takim przypadku, np. w postaci budowania lojalności wśród świeżo upieczonych internautów, byłyby prawdopodobnie lepsze. No i dlaczego akcja została ograniczona tylko do obecnych klientów ING? Aż się prosi by w ten sposób pozyskać nowych klientów: załóż konto, kurs komputerowy gratis.
